I was at a watering hole yesterday and got to talking with this gal about what she expected in a man before she would even consider going out with, or dating him.

She herself is a pretty good looking babe, but is no longer a babe cause she has 2 fairly grown sons. But is still pretty damn good lookin.

Anyway, I brought the list home and am making it available for your review.

Remember, these are Sharla's requirements, and I had no say in the matter (for an obvious reason, im a guy).

Here we go:

1. Must have a job.
2. Must have a car, which runs.
3. Must rise before Noon on a regular basis.
4. Non-Pedophile!
5. Preferably non-smoker.
6. Preferably Male.
7. Preferably Mammal.
8. Nice Shoes (2 pair).
9. No Wife or Girlfriend.
10. No Boyfriend!
11. Should be close to his Mother, in a Healthy way.

14. HONEST! (Hates Liars).
15. Within 8 years older (Cuts me out, slightly).
16. Within 5 years younger.

Sick Kid Day

It's gonna be one of those days. Alone with the kid, and as long as the TV is on I basically do not exist. I can talk at her and get absolutely no response out of her. She just has a bad cold. Hell so do I!

So, I can get her to go use her own TV, and enjoy my day. Or I can try to interact with her by playing cards and other things without any TV on at all. But then I will soon figure out that she isnt that sick, and be disappointed when she tires of my fun and games.

Yep, havin a half sick kid at home just plain sux! But I might end up getting her out for a bit later on. Not sure of that yet.


Oh, Lost was a rerun last night. It was a replay of the 2 hour pilot. I still watched it. Next wednesday is a new episode. They do that sortof thing, mixing old and new episodes...I should just stop watching it and get it at the video store as the new ones come out.

Tomorrow is friday, so hang on, it will be here soon enough.

Mo' Chilly

Man its even colder than yesterday. But Im caught up on that sleep deal, finally.

Wish I could drive, cause the girls are gone and Im afoot if noone is goin my way. Ah well...it will happen.

Just took that giant pile of pills I take every morning so I at least feel good now. Thats a plus.

I guess I will just sit back and see what the day brings my way. What a life. haha

Man its gone from 80 to 30 in 1 day, and then freezing rain for tomorrow. Yep, everyone is sick. Except for me...Im sick, but in a more perverted way, yee haa.

Went to the doctor. They will do a brain wave test on me next week. Then my sickness will be documented and proven beyond a doubt!

I slept 36 hours. I think im rested. I know Im starvin now.

Reflections on Yesterday

Well Valentines Day is over. I hope you at least told someone, even if its your bartender, that they are special to you.

Heck, I got my Wife a card from my daughter and I, perfume, and then we went out to our favorite little mexican hole in the wall. All done by 6:30. Then my wonderful wife dropped me off at the bar for a little while. She so good to me.

The crowd at the restraunt/bar I went to were soooooo immense, and its not that nice of a place. It was havvoc times 5. Not my sortof of scene at all. But I was finished with my holiday task! I could see people desparate for just a place to sit, or even an order to take home. It didnt even look like an enjoyable time for those folks.

We had a great time. Pure and simple.

Oh, and dont forget, Lost the TV Series comes on tonight. Thats where I will be at 8:00 cst.

Up and About

up and about...barely. Had a bit of a problem gettin to bed while hangin out on the computer in my favorite chat/video rooms, but Im fed and doing light chores at this point. Things could improve, or it could go to shit. Cant tell yet.

I tell ya what, there were some good lookin ladies online last night.

Today is VD, and I already bought the card and gift, so Im good to go at this point.

Texas Weather

Its gonna be 25 tonight and 75 wednesday day. Its no wonder we are all like sick. And the damn wind makes it cut right through you, so I have been stayin inside alot.

I dont drive so if I dont catch a ride with someone Im stuck at home. And as long as I have been off of work I have done everything there is to do at home...more than once. I can knock out the household chores in a flash, or let them pile up and do it all in a half day or so.

Dont party too much today/tonight cause tomorrows comes the dreaded work-week. Keep on reading everyday cause I might actually come up with some good stuff one day.

Sorry about no post yesterday but i was hurling yesterday. And my wife dont feel good today.

I did however go to my hangout and stay 6 hours for $10. I think my barkeep likes me, Doh!

Winter Olympics are starting. Not that its exciting, but it does look difficult.

I will do Water, but not Ice. Never Skiid. Skated though.

Its Saturday night coming on. We may watch a half ass movie and go to bed early.

Stuck in a Dream

I have so many topics in my head this morning that I feel that I should stick with the ones that are not opinionated. Mostly cause I always get whacked in the head when I choose those types.

I realize that (i have heard) that dreams, however long they seem, last only mere seconds. That fact I can accept.

But last night, or this morning, I got stuck in a dream and could not get out of it. It kept on looping and looping and seemed to go on for hours. Then a buddy of mine phoned and put an end to it all. But it involved things from my past that I never would have thought of again. It also involved money, which I have little of. It was soo strange. And a motorcycle which I never had.

One night years ago I had a dream like that, and I couldnt get it to end and me awaken, until it it did finally end. After awhile I figured out I was still in yet another dream. 2 Dreams deep! It pretty much scared the livin daylights out of me when I awoke from the 2nd dream. It is very hard to describe the whole feeling. Gave new meaning to the term weird.

enough about that, everybody dreams sometimes...

LOST, the series came on last night and it was a new episode. Talk about twists and turns. Its not 'that good of a show but it beats most of the other crap on TV. Anyway things got serious on last nights episode! Cant wait for another 'new episode. Hopefully next wednesday.

Speaking of shows, I have been renting movies from Blockbuster alot, and all I have found is disappointment in the quality. Maybe its me. Maybe Im watching too many. Maybe im expecting soo much quality that I expect them to match the good ones I have seen. I have talked to some people I know about this and they tend to agree that there hasnt been much out there that was worth watching. Please dont suggest any for me cause I watch alot of movies and already have my connections on good picks.

Hump Day

Well its hump day folks, and not so long till another weekend.

My sister was in this past weekend and we had a blast. So much that she didnt get home till Tuesday, haha.

I think yesterday was Fat Tuesday? I missed going out and seein some bare breasted cuties at the various restraunts. I used to never miss it, but I dont drive any longer and live out in the country. This make it hard to make it to all of my favorite good times like I used to.

If anything exciting happens today, as always you can depend on me to notify you of the gory details.

Oh, and LOST the series comes out with a new episode tonight. I think so anyway.

Letting Things Go

These past few months it seems that I have been running myself wragged trying to take care of the house, laundry, cooking, keeping list of things...and its getting me nowhere.

Sure, Im not a bad cook. And I have more extra time than my wife does. So I should continue taking care of some of the duties on almost a daily basis, and it saves money eating at home. Less fat, etc too.

So Im going to try to spend a little more time with myself and my few friends. Cant drive but I can at least think up something to do besides house and cleaning type work. It will still be there when I get to it. And it also seems that the harder I try, the more shit there is to clean up and clothes to wash. Hmm, an odd discovery. So how about do 1 load a day of laundry, and if someone needs something then I will be basically willing to help them out however I can.

Anyway, to put it in simple terms, Im gonna quit chasing my tail. [grin]

Football is Over

Before I moved to Dallas in '89 I didnt care for the sport, but when you move to the metroplex it is a must that you be a Cowboy's Fan.

Well they were not in the Superbowl, much less the playoffs this year. Better luck next time!

The Superbowl was good none the less. A close game is a good game, IMO. And that it was.

I dont watch any other sports so I guess this is it until next fall. I do like to play Tennis once in awhile, so I should get my ass out there and exercise a little, and teach my 10 year old about the game.

Rain (finally)

Its finally raining. And it's about time too. Even the dirt was starting to die! You could hear the echo of foundations cracking everywhere, (stb) including ours. Yep, that some quality topsoil we have here in the Metroplex. Barely good for growing feed corn.

Me sister will be here for the weekend. Seein her boyfriend, but im sure we will toss back a couple together at some point.

Its friday, so dont do sht. Just sit and wait for the weekend to get here. Waiting is considered hard work!
