Enjoy and have a good day.

Navigating Life

Lately life has taken me in unusual directions. Like, am I in control of it, or is it in control of me...?

In my situation this is a very good question. The course of my life depends highly on the true answer to this question. Who really is in control, who has been in control, and who will likely remain in control.

I feel that I have zero control, so far anyway. And currently too. Can you imagine how this must feel?

I cannot drive safely and likely never will. I cannot work, but will likely be expected to. (thats just the way things go) I am not safe being alone or doing anything on my own.

I know, STB (shitte the bed). Stuck in the bad part of a bad situation, and it's wearing on me when I let it. Although I usually stay strong. I find that to be the best area to survive in. And my few friends are dear to me.

Anyway, that is my 50 cents on the subject. Who knows...maybe things will get to looking better, even if they are basically the same. Its all in how you look at things I guess.

New Lost

Lost, the series came on last night. There was a rerun and then there was actually a New episode after that one.

They really threw a twist in the show this time, just as they said they would.

These folks, stranded on a freakin Island need to find a new island to hang out on! There were already people there!!! And it's a strange place too.

Oh, I went to the Liver Doctor yesterday. They say I'm ok, but they want me to...dig this...they want me to quit drinkin beer! STB Man, I'd have about as much luck doing that as I would sukkin my own pecker. But maybe If I stick to light beers and don't drink no hard stuff.

I failed to ask the doc if I should just start back ta smokin, but then there would be a different doctor on my ass.

Almost friday! Hang in there folks.

MLK Day

MLK Day has little meaning to me of course, me being a White Male. Lunch today seemed like a small family reunion. All of the people that I consider friends in any way were present, just about.

Some of them were working and some just off for lunch-break, while the rest of were off for the day. Some of our kids were in School, while the others had a holiday off. I thought that to be very unusual since we were all off in the previous years. It seemed so anyway.

This So-So Holiday that used to have so much meaning in the workplace and schools has begun to take a back seat, just as the animosity that Whites and Blacks once had towards each other has.

One thing I was awaken to while talking to a friend of mine is that Blacks for the most part have lower grades, get into more trouble...and other noticeably undesirable traits. But this is in general, and isn’t true to all. They also add to the population more than other nationalities, which brings me to my point...

If one day in my children’s children’s future, blacks become the more populous race, then what will become of the undesirable traits that exist amongst alot of them? Will they suddenly change face because they have finally become the Common Man? Or is this a somewhat explosive thing that our future race might face.

I guess that the same questions exist world wide, and if I look deep enough I can already find the answer to my questions. Im not sure I like what I see.

Anyway dammit, cant we all just get along? haha

(Please don’t take any part of this posting as being racist, as I have multi raced offspring myself!)

timmy's birthday is coming soon. march 1st.

Atomic Test

I found out today that back in 1957 my Father was involved in a test that ended up being 3 times bigger than expected...oops. The dustcloud went a mile in each direction or more. oops. Him, and his gonads that created me in 1958 were behind a mere concrete wall very close to the bomb that they set off. oops again.

I am going to look into the event to see if I can find more information. If I can find anything interesting then I will post it here.

Doctor Shit

Actually that is not even my doctors name, and I also have more than one doctor. I think it's more of a category or an action. Doctor Shit, haha

I went to 2 doctors visits yesterday and neither one of them had any sort of positive impact on me. In fact it couldnt get much worse unless I was dyin, and thats not an option.

Oh well, STB. Just another Monday, haha. My meds came in handy.

There is just too much work involved in maintaining the status of Disabled. Well, for me there is anyway. I think that the disability company is just trying to wear me down. So Im gonna keep my shit together and just keep feeding them what they need.

Negativity sux, haha. But that too can be resolved...

New Year Resolution Update

Well I made a few simple resolutions for this year, but Im not even able to keep them. Dealing with the other crap in my day to day life is pulling me away from the simple things I should be doing.

I'm blaming other people for my unhappiness and for my not getting things done. That was one of the things I was going to avoid.

At least Im able to identify my backfall.

And It's friday. Yeeee haa!

Linkage

Good day all! How's it hanging?

It's early morning (IMO) so I dont have alot going on yet.

I did add 1 new LINK for your use. I'm trying to make this little page useful if nothing more. Today I added a dictionary/thesaurus Link. (I hope I spelled that correctly, ha) I don't know about you, but I find a dictionary site useful to have around.

Can you believe it's going to be in the 70's here in this Dallas Winter? My kind of weather for sure. I'm a cold weather weenie! or, My weenie don't like cold weather...something like that anyway.

A few more days and the kid goes back to school, so it's time to start keeping myself busy.

Breakfast and a quick work-out should be a good start and "should" be an everyday thing.

If I think of anything witty or cool to say I will save it for tomorrows post.

If you think up any new useful or witty Links send them to me, but they must be useful to most everyone before I feel I should add them.

God I wish I could work and drive...STB.

Have a good day. This is your day.

New Years 2006

Well it's here. 2006...

After the car wreck the past 2 years have been difficult, but this year should be different, on the good side I hope.

Things Im gonna do different?

Stop smoking Cigs., if it takes all year.
Work-out for a few minutes each day.
Eat better.
Start back with tennis, some.
Drink a little less and stick to beer only.
Try not to die.

Heck, that's enough for 1 year. I will probly only make 1-2 of these anyway. I do know which one I dont want to screw up! haha

happy new year 2006!
